How do I Adjust My Email Notifications? - Legacy Interface

Email notification configurations can be adjusted on the Notifications screen.

1. Click the Notifications link in the top right corner of every PolicyStat page.
   • The Notifications page can also be accessed from the base PolicyStat local PolicyStat URL (e.g. - https://yoursitename. policystat. com), add /notification to the end (e.g. - https://yoursitename. policystat. com/notification).
2. Email notifications are sent (or not sent) based on the checkbox in the final column of the notification settings. Click the checkboxes to modify which email notifications you would like to receive.
3. Click the Save Changes button near the bottom of the page.

Additional Information:

To bring users into PolicyStat when an action is required, PolicyStat uses several different kinds of automatic notification emails that users can configure. Click here for examples of notification emails.

Turning off email notifications does not relieve the user from the responsibility to complete the required action.

For sites that are part of multiple sites within a system, adjustments to email notifications will apply systemwide.

Note for Area Managers:   The "Document Approved" and "Document Retired" notification types include policies that you own and all policies in the Area that you manage. If you disable one or both of these types, you will no longer receive notification emails for actions taken on policies that you own, as well as policies in your Area. 

Are you getting too many notifications?
If you are getting notifications for a PolicyStat location/site you feel you should not be receiving please contact the local site administrator for that location.  It is likely that you have elevated permissions for that location and once the permissions are adjusted you will stop getting the notifications.  This can particularly happen for users with Area Manager permissions that move to a new location/site.
