Display policy updates and comments in a chat channel via RSS feed

Microsoft Teams supports RSS feeds which allow you to get updates on policies without needing to login to PolicyStat.
To add an RSS feed:
- Locate and open the policy or report for which you want updates.
- PolicyStat offers RSS feeds for the following options:
- Active Policy
- Recently Revised
- Due for Review
- User Management
- Updated Documents
- Notifications
- PolicyStat offers RSS feeds for the following options:
- Click the RSS feed in the header next to the policy or report title.
- Copy the URL in your browser's address bar.
- Right-click and select Copy or use Ctrl+V on your keyboard to copy the highlighted text.
- Create a channel in Teams that will display your policy updates, if necessary.
- Click the three dots (. . .) next to the channel name to open the More options menu.
- Click Connectors in the menu that appears.
- Locate RSS in the list and click the Add button.
- If RSS is already connected, the button will display Configure instead.
- Enter a name for the RSS feed.
- Paste the URL you copied into the Address for RSS Feed field.
- Use the Digest Frequency dropdown menu to select how frequently you would like the feed to check for updates.
- Click the Save button.
- The feed will now display in your Teams channel.
Additional Information
Accessing RSS requires elevated permissions in PolicyStat. The following permissions have access:
- Can Create/Edit
- Can Create/Edit/Manage
- Can Create/Edit/Manage/Override
- Can Administer Site
- Policy Owner
