When sending a link to a lengthy document, it may not always be easy to direct someone to the proper heading section of that policy. To help with this, PolicyStat provides hyperlinks, also called Heading Deep Link, that link directly to a header within a policy.

When a policy goes through a Workflow or is active, you will notice an icon to the immediate right of each heading.  You will not see these icons when in the editor view.

1. Click on the icon displayed next to the header.
    
   
   
2. Using a right mouse-click/Paste or CTRL + V on your keyboard, paste that link in an email, on your intranet, or wherever you would like it to go.

Keep in mind that a user will still need a PolicyStat username and password in order to view that link (unless the policy link uses a Guest Access link).
