Objective:
- Understand what actions are available to System Administrator
Environment:
- PolicyStat customers with multiple sites under 1 system
Additional Information:
Every system should have an identified System Administrator who has admin permissions for all sites and applicability groups across the system. In order to be a System Administrator, a user must have "Can Administer Site" permissions set on all of the customer's applicability groups.
Answer:
A Site Administrator has the highest level of user permissions on a single site. A System Administrator, however, has these permissions on every site under the customer.
In addition to the actions that Site Administrators can take, a System Administrator can do the following:
- Access every site's Admin tab
- Manage or Proxy any user account
- Edit or Override any document
- Change the name of an Area
- Relocate users between all sites
- Enable Gen AI
