How do I Include Paragraphs or Tables Inside Numbered Lists?

Procedure/Resolution

Circumstances may require inserting a paragraph (or other section) within a list, and continuing the list afterwards.

Inserting a paragraph without breaking or restarting the list, requires a soft return (in place of a hard return).

Including Paragraphs Inside Numbered Lists

1. Place cursor at the end of the list item preceding where the paragraph should be inserted.
2. Press the Shift and Enter keys simultaneously on your keyboard. This creates a soft return which does not continue the numbered list.
   
3. Enter your content.
   
4. Press Enter on the keyboard again to continue the list.

Including Tables Inside Numbered Lists

1. Place cursor at the end of the list item preceding where the table should be inserted.
2. Press the Shift and Enter keys simultaneously on your keyboard. This creates a soft return which does not continue the numbered list.
   
3. Click the table button from the Editor toolbar.
   
4. Inside the pop-up window, apply the appropriate Row and Column settings for the desired table and click OK.
   
5. Continue work on the list or enter content into the table as desired.
