Error when Exporting a draft to Word

Issue

Hyphens ('-') that were not created in the PolicyStat editor cause an error when exporting to Word. An error can appear: "The page you are looking for was not found."

Cause

If hyphens in the policy were copy/pasted or the policy was uploaded from a Word document with hyphens included instead of being added directly from the PolicyStat editor, they can cause an error when exporting to Word.

Resolution

The best way to overcome this is to go through the policy and find all the '-' (hyphen) characters, delete them and then re-type it in so none of them are the type of hyphen that breaks it.

After replacing the hyphens if issues still occur when exporting to Word please let support know at Support Portal.
