How do I Make an Email Clickable?

Objective

Hyperlink an email within a policy

Environment

RLDatix Policy Editor

Procedure

A policy may require an email contact be included. RLDatix makes the process of including an email link extremely simple, just like creating any other link.

1. Select and highlight the text to be made into an email link.
2. Click the Hyperlink button in the Editor toolbar.
   
3. Type or paste the desired email address in the field that appears.
   
4. Click the green checkmark to confirm.
5. They system will automatically recognize the link as an email address and include "mailto:" in the URL. This will prompt your system to open your local email application when the link is clicked in the active policy.
