How does Lippincott Search integrate with PolicyStat?

The Lippincott Search feature allows you to search and view Lippincott procedures from a search bar located below the content of your PolicyStat policies. 

The search functionality can also be applied to the welcome message contained on your home tab as well.

Problem

• Staff are tasked with looking at a given policy & related procedure
• For many facilities, the directive is review policy first, then procedure
• Thus, clinical staff are going to two different systems for this info

Solution

A customer can purchase an integration (API-based) between PolicyStat and their Lippincott Procedures application to search both from PolicyStat.

Benefits:

• Allows caregivers to search for PolicyStat policies and related Lippincott evidence-based procedures all within PolicyStat’s home page or any related policy that has been tagged with ‘Lippincott’
• There is no need to have a separate Lippincott login site for each staff member
• Policy owners can more efficiently reference the latest evidence-based content as policies are reviewed and revised

Note

Lippincott links used to access procedures should not be used in PolicyStat documents. These links will expire in 24 hours.

Setup

• Use reference tags to apply a tag of ‘Lippincott’ to any document where the Lippincott Search will appear in a document.
  
• The Lippincott search bar will not appear within documents where the ‘Lippincott’ reference tag is not applied.
