If a policy requires acknowledgment, users are notified via email and on their PolicyStat homepage. The email for a user's assigned acknowledgments is sent exclusively on Monday evenings with the subject of the email being Policies Requiring Your Action This Week. The email will continue to be sent until all assigned actions are completed.
A user may also be assigned acknowledgments for past versions of a document in addition to the current active version of the same document. Assignments for past archived versions will be listed as individual assignments.
Additional actions:
- From the Home page, click a policy title from the My Policies to Acknowledge Report.
- If there are more than 5 policies assigned for you to acknowledge, click the number in the bubble at the end of the report header to display the full list.
- If you are part of a system and the policy was created on a site different than your home site, you will need to Change Location before acknowledging the policy.
- Read through the policy.
- At the top of the policy, click the Acknowledge button to indicate that you have read and understand the policy.
Note: The Acknowledge button will be greyed out and not be clickable until you have scrolled down and viewed all the policy contents.
