Can I display policy updates in my Teams channel via RSS feed?

Microsoft Teams supports RSS feeds which allow you to get updates on policies without needing to login to PolicyStat.

To add an RSS feed:

1. Locate and open the policy or report for which you want updates.
   • PolicyStat offers RSS feeds for the following options:
     • Active Policy
     • Recently Revised
     • Due for Review
     • User Management
     • Updated Documents
     • Notifications
2. Click the Share button in the upper right corner above the policy header.
3. Click the Copy button in the RSS Feed section. 
4. Create a channel in Teams that will display your policy updates, if necessary.
5. Click the three dots (. . .) next to the channel name to open the More options menu.
6. Click Workflows in the menu that appears.
7. Select the RSS Workflow.
   • If you don’t see the workflow you need, you can search in the Find workflows search box.  
   • If you select More workflows, the Workflows app will open. From here, you can browse all workflow templates, or create a new one.  
   • If you select Manage workflows, the Workflows app will open. From here, you can manage existing workflows, browse all workflow templates, or create a new one. 
8. Enter a name for the Workflow.
   
9. Click Next
10. Paste the URL you copied into the RSS The RSS Feed URL field.
11. Select a Team and Channel to notify.
12. Click the Create Flow button.
13. The feed will now display in your Teams channel.

Additional Information

Accessing RSS requires elevated permissions in PolicyStat. The following permissions have access:

• Can Create/Edit
• Can Create/Edit/Manage
• Can Create/Edit/Manage/Override
• Can Administer Site
• Policy Owner
