- SmartExtract will suggest a value for the Type based upon the information within the chosen template.
- Once the correct type value is accepted, SmartExtract will then process the rest of the document suggesting values for fields identified for extraction for that Type.
- The Wizard is automatically displayed once review of the Document has completed.
- The Wizard is presented if you access SmartExtract via a message in the Notification area
The screen will open as a blank Contract record, with a preview of the document presented on the right of the screen, this will enable you to look within the document to check or amend suggested values.
The wizard will display in the middle of the screen and will move within the layout of the Contract record as you progress through the fields.
The Wizard has a number of attributes to aid you in processing the request and are detailed in Stage 2.

The Wizard will display the number of fields that have been extracted for you to review.
The Wizard will suggest a field value giving a confidence percentage and reasoning why this value is suggested. This is to allow you to make an informed decision if the suggested value is acceptable.
If you are happy with the suggestion the press [Accept Value], the field will populate with the value and the Wizard will move on to the next field.
You have the ability to change the suggested value. This maybe using a drop down to either choose an alternative or add/remove values.
Or for text information you can click in the suggested value field and manually adjust the text.
Once you have adjusted the value, if you press [Accept Value] then your adjusted value will populate in the field.
If there is more than one suggestion for the field value, these will be presented. Use the arrows to flip through the suggestions and choose the correct suggestion.

Continue processing through the Wizard, making adjustments where required until all fields have been reviewed.
When you have processed the final field the Wizard will turn green and the bottom of the Wizard will display how many fields will be populated by SmartExtract.
Note: you do not have to accept a value in every field, if you do not accept a field value then this field will be left blank in the new record.
If you do not wish to review each individual field then you can press [Accept All]
If you choose this option then SmartExtract will populate each field automatically with the highest percentage suggestion.
You can use the 'Previous field' and 'Next field' options to go back and forth through the Wizard
You can use the [Undo] button to remove an accepted value.
The wizard is positioned to follow each field through your form, it can be repositioned out of the way if you need to review any data it is covering.
The Wizard can snap back to its position by clicking the 'Reattach to field' icon.
Creating a Contract record
Once you have finished reviewing all your fields you are ready to create your new Contract record.
Use the 'x' on the Wizard to dismiss it and then press [Save] on the top right of the screen
The screen will update and display the new Contract record with all your field values populated. If you selected to add the file then a Contract Document record will be created with a copy of the document in the Documents sub tab.
This record will need to be edited and adjusted with the correct Document field values, such as Title and Type.
