Overview
The Credentialing feature in Intelligentcontract enables users to submit Credentialing Requests directly from a Contract. The guided submission process ensures consistent data capture and links each request to the appropriate Contract and organisation.
Credentialing Requests are reviewed externally, with status updates and notifications handled automatically within the system.
Who Can Submit a Credentialing Request
Users must:
- Have access to the Credentialing feature
- Be a member of a Security Group permitted to submit Credentialing requests
- Have access to the related Contract record
How to Submit a Credentialing Request
Step 1: Start the Credentialing Process
From a Contract record, select Submit for Credentialing via the [...] option
An introduction screen explains the purpose of the credentialing process and what information is required.
Step 2: Select Your Organisation
- Choose the appropriate organisation from the dropdown list.
- Use the Next and Back buttons to navigate between steps.
Step 3: Complete the Credentialing Application
Complete the full Credentialing form, which is divided into structured sections covering provider, employment, and credentialing details.
- Supporting documents can be uploaded (up to four files)
- Additional information can be added using Supporting Notes
- Field validation ensures mandatory data is provided before submission - if a field has not been completed then a validation message will display if you press [Next].
Step 4: Submit and Confirm
Once submitted:
- A Submission Confirmation screen is displayed
- A reference number is generated and shown to the User
- The request enters review by the Credentialing service
After Submission
- The submitter is notified via email that the request has been sent. Any Internal Users linked to the Contract record will also receive email notifications.
- The Application Status initially displays Pending
- The related Contract record will display the Credentialing Request record in a sub tab
- Status updates are received automatically from the external Credentialing service. Once received the Application status field will update accordingly
- Relevant Users will receive email notification of the update
