Acknowledgments
Ensuring users have both read and acknowledged a policy's content can be critical for both legal and procedural reasons.
PolicyStat makes this process simple through the ability to assign acknowledgments by a user or by a user group. In addition, acknowledgments can be set to recur each time a policy is updated to ensure users are aware of the latest revised version of the policy.
Users with Area Manager or Site Administrator permissions can assign or unassign policy acknowledgments to individual users or user groups. Area Managers or Site Administrators can then view and track completions by a user or by a policy.
Notifications
Email notifications about incomplete acknowledgments are batched together and sent every Monday evening. We batch the emails together in to one weekly email to avoid potentially bombarding inboxes with many messages if a large number of documents are assigned in a short period of time. It also allows time for any mistakenly-assigned acknowledgments to be removed before any email is sent.
Additionally, Area Managers receive notifications on all actions taken on policies within their respective Areas. This can result in a large increase in the number of notifications you receive compared to a standard user, but it allows an Area Manager to stay informed about the policies they manage.
Reports
As an Area Manager, there are a number of reports available that allow you to view the status of assigned Acknowledgments, in addition to receiving an emailed report. Incomplete Acknowledgments can be viewed by both Area and User, Assigned Recurring Acknowledgments can be viewed on each policy, and the full Acknowledgment history of an individual can be accessed.
