Linked Content Management
A step-by-step guide to uploading websites, videos, images, and documents that can be linked to your contracts, increasing utility for your users.
What is Linked Content?
The Linked Content Management section of Contracts manager™ allows users to upload websites, videos, images, and other documents to the system. Registered users can then link content directly to contracts, increasing utility for users. The following are the types of content that can be linked:
Ø Web Links – Link websites to contracts.
Ø Videos – Attach videos in MP4 format (Video Size: 960x540)
Ø Images –Attach images in any format to contracts.
Ø External Documents – Attach documents in PDF, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint format from your hard drive to contracts.
Ø Internal Documents - Attach documents located within the Contracts manager software to other contracts.
This guide covers the following information:
Adding New Content
1. Log in on the home page with your username and password. In order to proceed, you must be a registered user with Admin privileges.
2. Once logged in, hover your mouse over the Setup icon at the top of the window, and click Linked Content Management.
3. On the left-hand side of the screen, options for Web Links, Videos, Documents, and Images appear.
4. Click the type of content that you would like to upload. Click Add.
5. One of the following screens will appear, depending on the type of content you are uploading. Complete the fields. Fields with a star are required, and the others are optional.
Ø For Web Links, copy and paste the URL into the URL field. Ø For Videos, Images, and External Documents, click Browse to locate the file on your computer.
Ø Click Test URL to be sure that the link is functional. Ø Videos should be in MP4 format (Video Size: 960x540)
Tip!
Internal Document Content Linkages do not require setup.
6. Click Save (Web link, Image Video, or Document).
Deleting uploaded content
1. Hover your mouse over the Setup icon and click Linked Content Management.
2. On the left-hand side of the screen, options for Web Links, Videos, Documents, and Images appear.
3. Click the type of content that you would like to delete.
4. Select the check box beside the content that you would like to delete. Click Delete.
5. A pop-up will appear confirming your choice. Click OK.
